Specification of Strip Seal MD - SIG SSF
We sell and provide various sizes and specifications of the strip seal expansion joint, one of which is the Strip Seal MD - SIG SSF. It is an open bridge connection that can be seen with the naked eye from the top of the bridge. This component certainly has an important role in bridge construction. The seal strip joint is a strip seal expansion joint or commonly referred to as a single gap expansion joint, which consists of two steel edge profiles with anchor loops and replaceable sealing profiles.
Specifically, the bridge connection of this type has 1 (one) gap at the top. This gap is the maximum measure of horizontal movement at the bridge connection. The wider the gap strip seal, the more the connection will be able to withstand wider horizontal or sideways movement of the bridge.
